We have an outstanding collection of photos this year. These pictures were provided by several cousins. If you enjoy viewing them - let them know! The pictures are available in two forms: one is from my web site. The other is a Snapfish album.
2010 Reunion - Ted's Snapfish Album
New - Sep 5 - Ted Suffridge added his photos to the group room. These are a nice
addition to the pictures avaiable previously.
View the photos in a Snapfish album slideshow.
All photos have been uploaded to a Snapfish album.
View the photos or order prints. The Snapfish slideshow is a nice format - when it works.
I've noticed that the speed of the display varies widely. I assume this is related to
other traffic on the web site. You won't be able to see the photo names (and names of people in
the photo) in the slide show. You will need a free account on Snapfish to view
the photos. If you are asked for a "room code", use "minnie".
On my web site, a page of thumbnails is shown. As the cursor hovers over any thumbnails, a larger view is displayed, and the file name that contains names of people in the phote appears. Click any of the small pictures to view a larger size in a new window.
Use the right and left arrow keys to navigate through the photos, or click the links at the top. Click the View Original button to view a larger size. Use the Backspace key or Back Arrow to return to the slide. You can return to the set of thumbnails at any time and select a different picture for the starting point.
The format I use has evolved over several years. Feel free to provide comments or suggestions for improvement. I've tried to optimize the photo sizes and quality so that it works even with slow connections. The code has been tested in several browsers. Internet Explorer, on my computer, issues a couple of warnings - only because the pages use Javascript. There's no malicious code so click through the warnings to enjoy the photos.
Pictures from Don
This year, Don (or someone in his family) provided over 120 photos in high resolution.
Each picture contains 3456 x 2592 pixels, and is approsimately 3MB in size.
This is enough resolution to make a 17 x 13 inch print. Don provided these on a flash drive.
I found that the uploading of these photos was taking a long time (and so was the download time when
viewing the "full-size" image), so I reduced the resolution to 1600 x 1200 pixels.
This resolution should be adequate for printing a high quality 4 x 6 inch print.
If you would like to have the original photo at full resolution, just ask.
Pictures from Joyce
Joyce provided an additional 22 photos. While the resolution is lower (640 x 480 pixels),
these provide other views of people attending the reunion.
A number of sites now make photo slide shows available with various features. is designed to provide a relatively quick display of pictures even for those using a slow internet connection. The design also allows you to find a picture in the set. There are three levels of detail.
